Majority of Arizonans believe state is on wrong track under Katie Hobbs; top issues include affordability and border security

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6

GILBERT, AZ—A new poll of likely Arizona Republican primary voters showed Rep. Andy Biggs with a 24-point advantage in the gubernatorial primary election, continuing a trend line of public polls that show Biggs in a strong position for the August 2026 election. The poll, which was fielded by public polling firm GrayHouse between October 26th-28th and can be read in its entirety here, also showed that a majority of Arizona voters believe the state is on the “wrong track” under Katie Hobbs.

“Arizonans simply cannot afford another four years of Katie Hobbs as Governor,” said Congressman Biggs. “We’ve seen the results of Hobbs and her weak policies: energy costs are rising, homes and apartments are unaffordable, and our state’s job growth is now a pathetic 47th in the country. Our campaign has met Arizonans where they are and focused on issues like affordability and lowering our state’s energy costs. We’ve got lots of work to do, but we’re seeing positive results so far and we’ll continue to make our case directly to voters across our great state.”
