New Poll: Andy Biggs Within Margin Against Katie Hobbs, Dominating GOP Primary

May 18, 2026
Press Release

The former State Senate President has closed the gap even with

Hobbs’ significant spending advantage

GILBERT, AZ—A new poll shows Congressman Andy Biggs closing the gap against Katie Hobbs to pull within the margin of error, another data point showing Biggs as the strongest Republican candidate to take on Hobbs in November. According to Noble Predictive Research, Biggs also holds a dominant 30-point lead (+9 from February’s poll) in the July 21st GOP gubernatorial primary.

Despite Hobbs already spending millions on her campaign and holding the advantage of incumbency and seven years of statewide office, she only reaches a mediocre 41% with Biggs at 37% among the 996 registered Arizona voters surveyed in the poll.

Arizonans are tired of seeing waste, fraud, and abuse under Katie Hobbs while they struggle to find an affordable home and a steady, well-paying job,” said Biggs, the former State Senate President under two separate Governors. “After more than three years of Katie Hobbs, Arizonans have been hit with over 450 vetoes and zero victories from a Governor who has shown she cannot effectively run our state. As we continue to consolidate our support in the Republican primary, this poll is just another sign that Katie Hobbs is the weakest and most vulnerable Governor in the entire country for the 2026 cycle.

In addition to Biggs’ polling momentum, the Biggs for Arizona campaign now holds endorsements from 42 current or former state legislators including Senate President Warren Petersen, Senate Pro Tempore T.J. Shope, and State Representative Michele Peña.
