Three years into Hobbs’ term, Arizonans have seen weak and ineffective governance lead to scandals, anemic job growth, and rising costs
MONDAY, JANUARY 12
GILBERT, AZ—After three years of weak and ineffective governance leading to anemic job growth, rising costs, and embarrassing scandals, voters across Arizona can see the clear truth: Arizonans cannot afford four more years of Katie Hobbs.
Despite her recent laughable attempts to rebrand and escape from her roots as a committed progressive, Hobbs is stuck defending a record that has more vetoes than victories as scandals and failures have led to even Democrats describing her as “weak”.
“Three years of weak, failed leadership is enough for our state’s citizens to know the truth: Arizonans cannot afford four more years of Katie Hobbs,” said Congressman Andy Biggs, the only candidate endorsed by President Trump and Charlie Kirk and the leader of multiple public polls of the Arizona GOP gubernatorial primary. “Arizonans deserve a strong, honest leader with a vision to restore the American Dream. Katie Hobbs has shown she cannot make that a reality, but I’m ready to do the job from Day One and help Arizona reach its full potential.”
No matter what Hobbs and her progressive allies may claim, her weak record as Governor is clear:
“NO JOBS HOBBS” LEADS TO ANEMIC JOB GROWTH
- Arizona fell to 47th nationally in job growth for the first half of 2025, a stunning fall for a state recognized for its growing economy over the previous decade.

SCANDALS ENGULF HOBBS ADMINISTRATION
- Katie Hobbs remains under investigation for her role in an alleged pay-to-play scheme.
- Katie Hobbs’ Department of Child Safety authorized a 30% pay increase, over $4 million in taxpayer funds a year, for Sunshine Residential Homes after their leadership made six-figure contributions to political committees supporting Hobbs.
- Katie Hobbs vetoed legislation that would have increased transparency around her Inauguration Fund after her secret donor list came under public scrutiny.
- Katie Hobbs created nearly $600K worth of new, bureaucratic positions for political allies.

HOBBS DEFENDS HARMFUL TAX ON GROCERIES, FAILS TO ACT ON RISING GAS AND UTILITY PRICES
- Katie Hobbs vetoed legislation in 2023 that would have banned local taxes on groceries, harming Arizonans who were negatively impacted by Bidenomics.
- From her time as a State Senator where she supported an effort to double the state’s gas tax to failing to take action as Governor on securing an EPA waiver for cheaper blends of gas, Katie Hobbs has consistently worked against Arizonans when it comes to lowering gas prices.
- Katie Hobbs’ new energy task force is pushing unreliable and costly sources of energy on Arizonans instead of reliable and affordable sources like natural gas while she vetoed legislation to protect her radical environmental allies.
