Fifth-generation Arizona rancher’s livelihood under attack from Katie Hobbs and foreign-owned solar farm
GILBERT, AZ—The Biggs for Arizona campaign today released a new ad, “Livelihood”, featuring a fifth-generation Arizona rancher whose livelihood is under attack from Katie Hobbs and a foreign-owned solar farm.
Casey Murph and his family have run cattle in northern Arizona since before statehood, but a recent push from Hobbs would potentially allow a foreign-owned solar farm to take over the state land leased by Murph for cattle grazing.
It’s the latest attack rural Arizona has suffered under Katie Hobbs, who has left rural communities vulnerable to outrageous rate hikes and vetoed legislation that would allow better management of groundwater in rural areas.
