Frontrunner for GOP nomination in July 21st Primary Election well-positioned to spend in general election
GILBERT, AZ—The Biggs for Arizona campaign reported a Q2 fundraising total of just over $918K, marking the largest fundraising quarter of the cycle for Congressman Andy Biggs as polls show him as the Republican frontrunner in Arizona’s primary election on July 21st. The campaign has raised over $3.6 million for the cycle and is holding $1.26M cash on hand entering the final stretch of the primary election.
“With another fundraising record set for our team, it’s clear Arizonans are rallying behind our effort as the strongest campaign to beat Katie Hobbs in November,” said Biggs. “We have the tools we need to share our vision of Restoring the American Dream in Arizona after four disastrous years under Katie Hobbs, who remains the only current governor in the country under criminal investigation.”
After a Clean Elections debate performance described as “smart” and dedicated to reaching Independent voters across Arizona, multiple polls have shown Biggs with a 50-point lead going into Tuesday’s primary election. Arizona-based pundits have recognized Biggs for running a “mistake-free” campaign and focusing on Katie Hobbs, the incumbent Governor who remains under criminal investigation for an alleged pay-to-play scheme.
