Biggs for Arizona on the Campaign Trail: June 8, 2026

June 8, 2026
Press Release

Hobbs continues to fail on affordability, Biggs in the community, and Latinos Por Biggs!

Five Things To Know & Share

1. As Arizonans struggle with a higher cost of living and our state stuck near the bottom of affordability rankings, Katie Hobbs is failing to do anything to support businesses and families in the state.

From her vetoes of a $1.1 billion tax cut for Arizona families and businesses to her illegal housing moratorium that drove up the cost of homes, Katie Hobbs has made life more expensive for Arizonans of all backgrounds.

2. The Biggs for Arizona campaign hosted its first Latinos Por Biggs event with supporters in Phoenix coming together to hear from Congressman Biggs.

Congressman Biggs met with Latino voters in Phoenix to discuss his vision of Restoring the American Dream in Arizona, where families of all backgrounds can afford a single-family home in a safe neighborhood with a steady, well-paying job.

3. Congressman Biggs and his wife Cindy took their grandchildren to enjoy ice cream and meet voters at the grand opening of Brooker’s Founding Flavors Ice Cream in Chandler.

The famous ice cream shop, which features odes to the Founding Fathers, opened in the East Valley as the Congressman got to catch up with supporters while enjoying George Washington’s Indispensable Flavor (chocolate ice cream with peanut butter cups!). Enjoy the video recap HERE!

4. At the Latinos Por Biggs event, inspirational speaker William Miller asked the Congressman what misconception is out there about him that he wants to clear up for Arizonans.

Watch the video below for a heartwarming back and forth between the Congressman and the young Goodyear resident who has been recognized by the Today Show for his talent.

5. House Majority Leader Michael Carbone endorsed Congressman Biggs, making him the 44th current or former State Legislator to endorse the campaign.

Carbone, who represents the West Valley and has been a champion for nuclear energy in Arizona, praised Biggs for his record of conservative leadership in the Legislature and Congress.
