Republican candidate for Governor well-positioned to qualify for ballot when filing window opens in two weeks
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10
GILBERT, AZ—The Biggs for Arizona campaign has reached the “maxed out” number of petition signatures on the E-Qual platform through the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office, giving Congressman Andy Biggs more than enough confirmed signatures to appear on the Republican gubernatorial primary ballot a full two weeks before candidates can begin submitting signatures. While other campaigns continue to scramble and spend resources for more petition signatures over the coming weeks, Biggs for Arizona is well-positioned to officially qualify soon after the in-person candidate filing window opens on Monday, February 23rd.

“From the first day we launched this campaign, Cindy and I have been amazed by the grassroots support we’ve received,” said Congressman Biggs. “We cannot thank enough every Arizonan who was willing to sign their name to get us to this goal. Qualifying for the ballot without having to pay for signature gatherers or online advertising shows Arizonans are excited about our race and believe in our vision to Restore the American Dream. We’ve got a lot of work to do in the coming months to win our primary election and defeat Katie Hobbs in November, but this is another major step in the right direction.”
“Rural Arizonans have been hurt by Katie Hobbs and her progressive policies, from being denied a $1.1 billion tax cut to seeing our energy costs continue to rise,” said State Representative David Marshall. “Congressman Andy Biggs will stand up for rural Arizonans, making sure our natural resources are managed responsibly and that we’ll have economic opportunity brought to our communities. We’re excited to see Rep. Biggs will officially be on the ballot and we’re looking forward to him becoming our next Governor of Arizona.”
“Hitting the max-out number of E-Qual signatures while most statewide campaigns are still paying signature collectors is a testament to the strength of Congressman Biggs’ campaign,” said State Representative Michael Way. “His conservative values and track record of strong, effective governance are unmatched, which is why Republicans are lining up behind his campaign every day. Arizonans in the East Valley and across our state know we need a proven leader like Congressman Andy Biggs to defeat Katie Hobbs in November and lead Arizona to reach its full potential.”
