Andy Biggs Takes Debate Stage Tonight for First Gubernatorial Debate in Arizona

Press Release

Biggs/Kerr campaign hosting tonight’s debate before Governor and Lt. Governor Debates next week in Scottsdale

GILBERT, AZ— Republican nominee for Governor of Arizona Andy Biggs will take the debate stage tonight at 4pm Arizona time in the first general election gubernatorial debate of the 2026 cycle in Arizona.

Biggs will share his vision for Restoring the American Dream in Arizona and make the case against Katie Hobbs, who has refused to debate as her terrible economic record on job creation and affordability is impossible to defend.

Tonight’s debate is being hosted by the Biggs/Kerr for Arizona campaign and is a preview for next week’s Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission Debates, where Sine Kerr will participate in the Lt. Governor’s Debate on Monday, October 5th and Andy Biggs will participate in the Governor’s Debate on Tuesday, October 6th.

“Arizonans have made it clear they want to see a gubernatorial debate about the future of our state and we’re going to make that happen as best we can,” said Andy Biggs, Republican nominee for Governor of Arizona. “Katie Hobbs may be too much of a coward to defend her policies in a debate, but Arizonans still deserve to see a contrast between the two candidates on stage. We’re looking forward to tonight as well as next week’s debates with the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission.”
