Two new videos feature Biggs speaking directly to Arizonans on Hobbs’s vetoes that hurt education and public safety
GILBERT, AZ—Republican nominee for Governor Andy Biggs called out Katie Hobbs on her education and public safety failures in two new social media videos released today. Hobbs’s vetoes of Arizona opting into a federal school choice tax credit and formally recognizing drug cartels as terrorists were both mentioned by Biggs, who reiterated his support for school choice policies and keeping Arizonans safe from drug traffickers.
In the education video, Biggs noted that even Democrat politicians like Colorado Governor Jared Polis had opted their states into accepting the federal tax credit. Biggs reminded voters of his track record as a champion for school choice policies and vowed to protect Arizona’s ESA program from politicians like Katie Hobbs who want to destroy the system.

On public safety, Biggs pointed to Hobbs’s veto of a bill to formally recognize drug cartels as terrorists as an example of her failure to take the safety of Arizonans seriously. Under Katie Hobbs, Arizona has had the largest spike in the country for fentanyl deaths while most other states have seen their rates reduced over the past year.
