News

Over 20,000 nomination signatures to qualify for the ballot, stops in Navajo and Pima County, and more endorsements!

Five Things To Know & Share

1. Congressman Andy Biggs officially qualified for the 2026 Republican primary ballot by submitting over 20,000 nomination signatures.

At the end of February, the Biggs for Arizona campaign turned in the most signatures of any candidate to date in the 2026 cycle without using any paid signature canvassers or digital advertising. The campaign collected signatures from all 15 counties across Arizona, showing a broad coalition of grassroots support for the frontrunner in the Republican gubernatorial primary.

2. Despite her campaign promises, Katie Hobbs has failed to do anything to reduce gas prices in our state and Arizonans are paying the price as costs rise.

As gas prices continue to rise, Arizonans should remember that Katie Hobbs failed to take any substantive steps in her first three years in office to ease the burden of higher gas prices in our state. She failed to obtain a waiver from the EPA to get Arizona out of paying for a costlier summer blend and has yet to instruct ADEQ to reevaluate their environmental standards that force our state to use more expensive blends.

3. Rep. Biggs continues to campaign across Arizona, sharing his vision of Restoring the American Dream in our state because Arizonans cannot afford four more years of Katie Hobbs.

Congressman Biggs made recent appearances at the Arizona Federation of Republican Women retreat in Tucson, the Navajo County Celebrate America 250 Dinner in Show Low, the Arizona March for Life in Phoenix, and the Sun City Grand GOP meeting in the West Valley.

4. Texas Governor Greg Abbott became the first Governor to endorse Rep. Biggs for his gubernatorial campaign.

The three-term Governor of Texas and former Chairman of the Republican Governors Association gave his support to Biggs, highlighting his experience as Arizona Senate President and conservative credentials as being key to returning Arizona to prosperity. Biggs for Arizona was also endorsed by State Representatives Quang Nguyen and Selina Bliss from Legislative District 1 in Yavapai County.

5. A new poll showed Andy Biggs is consolidating Republican voters behind his campaign and is the best-positioned candidate to take down Katie Hobbs in November.

The survey showed Biggs winning the Republican primary by 21 points and the best performing Republican candidate in a matchup agains Katie Hobbs. Biggs is leading in all public polling, cash on hand, and endorsements as the campaign continues to build momentum.
