Full conformity from Biggs-supported Working Families Tax Cut delivers major win for Arizona families and businesses
GILBERT, AZ—Former State Senate President Andy Biggs applauded Arizona House and Senate Republicans for delivering a state budget with the full tax cuts from the Biggs-supported ‘Working Families Tax Cut’ and rejecting Katie Hobbs’ preferred tax hikes on Arizonans.
Biggs offered the following statement in support of the budget agreement:
“Despite multiple vetoes from Katie Hobbs that caused chaos and confusion, Arizona House and Senate Republicans stood strong and delivered the full tax package from the Working Families Tax Cut for Arizona families, businesses, and seniors. They also rejected $3 billion of Hobbs’ preferred spending and tax hikes on Arizonans, which would have harmed our state’s economic growth and only amplified the affordability crisis Hobbs has enabled in Arizona. I commend our Legislative Republicans for putting Arizonans first and I look forward to working with them as Governor in 2027.”
