GILBERT, AZ— Congressman Andy Biggs applauded Arizona House Republicans for passing an Arizona First budget and offered the following statement:
“Arizona House Republicans did their job by passing a serious, common-sense budget that delivers over $1B in tax cuts to Arizonans while protecting public safety and core services. It’s a budget that puts Arizonans First and shows voters our party can govern responsibly.
Katie Hobbs and her staff have been engaged in political showmanship instead of leadership, running away from negotiations and leaving Arizonans confused when it came to filing taxes.
It’s time for Hobbs to end the games. Arizona House Republicans have delivered and Arizona Senate Republicans are united as well. Hobbs should put Arizonans ahead of political posturing and sign this budget when it reaches her desk.”
